At AbbVie we care about social causes as well as the health of our patients. We encourage engagement in the communities where we live and work, and that’s why each June is dedicated to the Month of Possibilities. In 2019 our employees volunteered to help with a range of volunteering activities including City Mission centres to help Kiwis who are in crisis and also Eat My Lunch to make, pack and deliver healthy lunches to hundreds of Kiwi kids that go without every day.

We are a company made up of passionate people. It’s why we care about supporting the causes that are close to the heart of our employees. Throughout the year we participated in fundraising activities identified by the AbbVie team.

Each AbbVie employee is given two volunteering days a year to enable them to donate their time to charitable causes.

In addition, our Employee Donation Matching program means that we support employee fundraising, dollar for dollar.

When the business gets behind the causes that matter most to our people it demonstrates that we are united in our commitment to make a difference.
