We supplement this individualized approach with companywide education and an investment in emerging leaders. One example is our Learn. Develop. Perform. (LDP) program which offers easily accessible, personalized development that's tailored to employees' interests.
During our award-winning LDP Week, experts and AbbVie leaders from around the world come to speak–and you choose who you want to learn from, based on your own interests and career journey. Our experts cover diverse topics, from cross-functional collaboration and business acumen to unconscious bias. Plus, every year you’ll find innovative approaches to learning. Past events included a 24-hour radio station, bite-sized learning through a YouTube channel and a TED event.

- Development Workshops, solutions and resources that enable leaders to advance their skills, expand their knowledge, amplify our culture, and progress in their careers
- Leading at AbbVie, a cohort-based program that supports first-time people leaders with critical skills needed to successfully lead individuals and teams
- Key Talent Leadership Programs, a suite of customised learning solutions designed for key talent leaders selected by their business for accelerated development
- Executive Mentoring Program (EMP), pairs high performing talent with AbbVie senior executive leaders for a one-on-one mentoring partnership
- Educational Assistance Program which is available to eligible employees for courses with approved educational institutions at Diploma, Degree, Master, PhD or equivalent level.
